Additional information

Please note: it is assumed that anyone attending either course will already have a working knowledge of the installation process. Neither course covers the actual installation of doors, gates, barriers or dock levellers. Furthermore, although electrical safety is covered during both courses, the training does not provide the detailed electrical knowledge associated with the installation of any powered or automated door, gate or traffic barrier.

We recommend that those with barriers to learning such as dyslexia or difficulty in reading and writing to please inform dhf training staff before attending a course, and also to attend a classroom course at Tamworth where extra help can be provided.

All courses are run on a pass/fail basis and marked independently.  No communication will be entered into with the trainer.
