The majority of classroom courses are held at the dhf Training Academy, Shuttington. A bespoke training facility on the outskirts of Tamworth, located just four miles from junction 11 off the M42. 'The Barn' at 'Shuttington Fields Farm' houses a top-of-the-range Training Academy, accommodating up to 25 people.
dhf also holds training course throughout the UK, these are clearly marked on the Online Training Calendar.
The dhf Distance Learning Programme (DLP) is ideal way to obtain training if unable to travel or attend classroom courses. Training delegates can learn at their own pace through professionally edited videos and take their exam online. Delegates will have three months to complete the course from the date of booking. During this time delegates will have unlimited access to all course materials which includes: training videos, supporting documents and exams.

With virtual learning delegates will attend an online classroom, on a set date and complete dhf training remotely. Virtual training allows delegates to interact in real-time with dhf trainers. Exams and supporting documents will be accessed online.
Some certificates expire after 3 years after issuance. If you see this icon it means dhf provides a refresher course for this qualification, and a refresher course must be passed to keep the qualification relevant.
Delegates must book and pay for refresher courses via the dhf Online Training Academy. Delegates have three months to complete the refresher, once completed and passed, an updated certificate can be downloaded.
Note: If accreditation was previously added to the course, it must be purchased again to retain the formal accreditation.
dhf technical webinars are exclusively for dhf members. Theses free webinars provide clarity on a range of subject matters and to answer some of the most frequently asked questions received by the Technical Department. Training & Compliance Officer, Nick Perkins will present the webinars via Teams. Each session will feature a Q&A section allowing members to raise any queries.
