Applying for a CSCS card couldn't be more simple. First select which card you are applying for and complete the application form. You will then be asked to provide supporting evidence and to upload a passport style photograph of yourself. If you are applying for a blue Skilled Worker card, you will also need to select the endorsements required for the back of your card. Once you select the 'submit and pay' button, you will be asked to enter your payment details. As part of the security procedures for banks, you will also be asked to provide your Verified by Visa details and your billing name and address. Once payment has gone through, you will receive a confirmation message and a follow up email to the email address you included in your application.
The NVQ required for the Blue Skilled Worker card is the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Specialist Installation Occupations (Construction) – Door, Gate and Shutter Systems – Installation and Maintenance. DHF will not accept any other NVQ as evidence as this is the only NVQ that is in scope for the industry sector as agreed with CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
dhf currently offers several CSCS card types. Each card has its own criteria. Please note all cards require the applicant to hold a valid Heath & Safety in the Environment (HS&E) certificate. You will be given access to an online portal where you can take the test as part of your application. If you have already taken this test with ADSA, dhf will accept this and you will have the opportunity to upload an image of your certificate. This must have been taken within 1 year prior to applying. dhf will not accept evidence of a passed HS&E test results from any other third party provider.
